Maclean's magazine, Global News, the Globe and Mail and Canadian Press have picked up the story about this petition calling on Prime Minister Trudeau to revoke Aung San Suu Kyi's honourary Canadian citizenship. In a press conference after a Liberal caucus meeting in Kelowna, BC today Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was asked by a reporter about the push to revoke Suu Kyi's honourary Canadian citizenship. He sidestepped the question and failed to call out Suu Kyi on her unwillingness to condemn the massacre and ethnic cleansing of Rohingya.
