Sono un cittadino torinese e lancio questa petizione per proporre il nome di un artista che mi piacerebbe tanto vedere come ospite al concerto finale dell'EuroPride 2027. Sto parlando di Søren Torpegaard Lund, classe 1998, cantante, attore teatrale e ballerino danese. Credo che possa essere un personaggio adatto per questa occasione in primis perché ha rappresentato la Danimarca all'Eurovision Song Contest 2026 con il brano "Før Vi Går Hjem", classificandosi al settimo posto su 25 finalisti e facendo ottenere alla Danimarca il miglior risultato nell'ultimo decennio e ha, inoltre, vinto il Marcel Bezençon Award 2026 per la composizione (Composer Award).

Søren é un artista apertamente omosessuale e queer e si è già esibito in diversi Pride europei, tra cui Copenaghen e Berlino, dimostrando un impegno concreto e reale per i diritti della comunità LGBTQIA+ È un artista che ama sfidare i canoni di genere indossando spesso vestiti considerati tradizionalmente femminili, gioielli, scarpe coi tacchi e make-up.

Ha sicuramente una solida formazione da performer dal vivo, in quanto all'età di 17 anni è diventato lo studente più giovane di sempre ad entrare nel programma triennale di teatro musicale presso la Scuola Nazionale Danese di Arti Performative a Fredericia, per poi conseguire il diploma nel 2019. La sua notorietà fresca e recente a livello europeo, unita a un ampio pubblico già affezionato in diversi Paesi, potrebbe contribuire ad attirare visibilità internazionale sull'evento dandogli prestigio.

Credo fermamente che la partecipazione di Søren a EuroPride non solo offrirebbe un'opportunità incredibile per i suoi fan italiani, ma anche rafforzerebbe la dimensione europea e multiculturale della manifestazione. Europa è sinonimo di diversità, inclusione e dialogo tra culture e Søren, come artista dichiaratamente gay, rappresenta perfettamente questi valori.

Comprendo ovviamente che le decisioni sul cast artistico di questo evento dipendono da tanti fattori organizzativi, budget, disponibilià, etc., concerti ed eventi come EuroPride hanno spazi limitati e le decisioni su chi invitare sono difficili, ma ritengo che includere un artista come Søren non solo aggiungerebbe prestigio all'evento, ma anche un'esperienza indimenticabile per tutti i presenti.

Faccio quindi appello ai comitati organizzativi di EuroPride 2027: invitate Søren Torpegaard Lund a esibirsi nel concerto finale a Torino! Offriamo ai partecipanti un'incredibile serata di musica, integrazione e celebrazione dei progressi raggiunti sul fronte dell'eguaglianza e dei diritti umani.

Object: Invite Søren Torpegaard Lund to Perform at the EuroPride 2027 Closing Concert in Turin

As a citizen of Turin, I am launching this petition to propose an artist whom I would really love to see perform as a guest at the closing ceremony of EuroPride 2027. I am talking about Søren Torpegaard Lund, born in 1998, a Danish singer, actor and dancer. I believe he would be an excellent choice for this occasion, first and foremost because he represented Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song "Før Vi Går Hjem". He finished 7th out of 25 finalists, securing Denmark's best Eurovision result in the past decade. Furthermore, he received the 2026 Marcel Bezençon Composer Award in recognition of the song's composition.

Søren is an openly gay and queer artist and he has already performed at several European Pride events, including Copenhagen Pride and Berlin Pride, thus showing a genuine and longstanding commitment to the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. He is an artist who enjoys challenging traditional gender norms, often wearing clothes that are conventionally considered feminine, as well as jewellery, high heels and make-up.

He also has a strong background as a live performer. At the age of 17, he became the youngest student ever to be accepted into a 3 year musical theatre programme, also known as the Musical Academy, at the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Fredericia and he graduated in 2019. His recent rise to fame across Europe, combined with an already dedicated international fanbase, could help attract greater international attention to the event while enhancing its prestige.

I firmly believe that Søren's participation in EuroPride would not only offer an incredible opportunity for his Italian fans, but would also strengthen the European and multicultural spirit of the event. Europe stands for diversity, inclusion and dialogue between cultures, and Søren, as an openly gay artist, embodies these values perfectly.

I fully understand that decisions regarding the artistic line-up for an important event like this depend on many factors, including organisation, budget and artist availability. Events such as EuroPride have limited programme space, and choosing which performers to invite is never easy. However, I strongly believe that including an artist such as Søren would not only enhance the prestige of the event but also create an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.

I therefore call upon the organising committees of EuroPride 2027 to invite Søren Torpegaard Lund to perform at the closing concert in Turin. Let us offer participants an unforgettable evening of music, inclusion and celebration of the progress that has been made in advancing equality and human rights!
