Stop the Corruption: Demand Justice for Carlos Watson

The Issue

After being selectively prosecuted and wrongfully convicted, Carlos Watson is facing a devastating sentence of 22-37 years from a conflicted judge on December 13, 2024. We urgently need your support to combat this grave injustice.

America was built on the promise of justice for all—but that promise is under attack. In the case of Carlos Watson, the federal justice system has revealed its ugliest side: corruption, judicial misconduct, and outright abuse of power.

This isn’t about left or right. It’s about fairness, accountability, and a government that serves the people—not its own insiders. Sign the petition to demand answers NOW.

What Happened:

  1. A Judge Who’s Too Close to the Action: Judge Eric R. Komitee, a former prosecutor in the same district as the team bringing the case, had clear conflicts of interest. Instead of being an impartial referee, he ran interference for the prosecution, consistently blocking key evidence and aiding their arguments.
  2. Trial Rigged from the Start: Exculpatory evidence was excluded, defense witnesses were silenced, and jury instructions were twisted to favor the government. Harvard Law Professor Ron Sullivan described the trial as “shameful” and a mockery of due process.
  3. Prosecutors With a Tainted Racial Record Running Amok: The case was brought in Brooklyn by three wealthy white prosecutors, Jonathan Siegel, Dylan Stern, and Gillian Kassner, thousands of miles from where Watson lives and works, by prosecutors who seem more interested in career advancement than truth or justice.
  4. Outrageous Recommended Sentence: Carlos Watson is facing an outrageous 22-37 years in jail.  While he maintains his innocence, the government contends a potential loss amount of $65 Million. The proposed sentence far outweighs others who were convicted for similar crimes, but the loss amount was 10X more or in the billions.  How is this fair?

Why It Matters to You:

This case isn’t just about one man. It’s about a government that believes it’s above the law. When a judge uses the bench to play favorites, anyone—from business leaders to everyday citizens—can be crushed by a system designed to protect the powerful.

If we let this stand, we’re endorsing a justice system where the game is rigged, and the outcome is predetermined. That’s not justice. That’s tyranny.

Our Demands:

  • Immediate Investigation into Judge Komitee’s misconduct and conflicts of interest.
  • Delay Dec. 13th Sentencing until an independent review is completed.
  • Hold Prosecutors Accountable for selectively targeting Watson and using improper tactics.

This Isn’t About Politics:

It’s about standing up to government overreach. If they can railroad a prominent entrepreneur like Watson with a biased judge and rigged trial, who’s safe? This could happen to anyone brave enough to challenge the system.
