Investigate NSW Electoral Commission for violating citizens' rights

Investigate NSW Electoral Commission for violating citizens' rights
The issue
We the undersigned NSW residents/voters wish to demand an investigation in the illegal misconduct of the NSW Electoral Commission and its abuse of power in dealing with the application to register Australian Migrants Party.
We note here that the commission did not respect the constitutional rights of hundreds of Australian citizens by denying them to form a political party to defend Multiculturalism and equal rights for migrants, especially who were born in Non-English speaking countries.
The commission had violated its mandate by trying to prolong the parry registration into a never-ending process. The commission had:
- Lied on the party secretary when it refused to provide the necessary paper forms to initiate the registration, for 6 months. The commission staff asked the secretary to initiate an online account on 19 May 2025, then asked her to delete the account on 19 November 2025.
- Refused to accept membership from Australian citizens who reside in the state, without valid reason nor logical explanation. The members’ eligibility was verified on the commission website.
- Stall the registration process by lack of proper communication with party officials.
- Lie in claiming to send surveys to members, as the last step of registration, when in fact the commission did not send any survey to the contacted members.
Now, the commission claims that the registration process is stalled because the commission cannot find an Arabic-English interpreter to help in contacting members to confirm their membership. This contravenes the fact that the Arabic-English interpreters are readily available in large numbers.
The commission is trying to silence migrants by not approving the registration of a party that was the loudest voice defending their rights in the last few years. The party’s candidates, even before registration and running as independents got the support of thousands of voters.
The commission had abused the power given to it under the current legislation. It violated our constitution by denying hundreds of their rights to form a political party.
We here demand an investigation in these illegal activities of the commission and refer its staff to ICAC if there are serious violations to the constitution by abusing the power given to the commission
