Bolton was once a thriving town. Now, it’s in crisis.

We, the residents, businesses, and taxpayers of Bolton, demand an independent review of Bolton Council’s spending and immediate action to clean up our town.

🔴 Bolton Council claims it ‘doesn’t have the budget’ to remove hazardous waste yet our council tax and business rates continue to rise.
🔴 Drug paraphernalia, crime hotspots, and pollution are turning parts of our town into a no-go zone, while council executives take home six-figure salaries.
🔴 Public services are declining, and yet there is no transparency on where taxpayers’ money is actually being spent.

💥 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We demand:
✅ An independent audit of Bolton Council’s spending over the last five years.
✅ Full transparency on council tax and business rates allocations.
✅ A forensic review into potential budget mismanagement and waste.
✅ Immediate action to clean up neglected areas and ensure public safety.

🚨 WHERE IS OUR MONEY GOING? 🚨

💥 Drug paraphernalia, hazardous waste, pollution risks, and a crime-ridden ‘no-go zone’.
💥 Staff are too scared to walk through it. Businesses are suffering.
💥 But when asked to clean it up, Bolton Council says they don’t have the budget.

🔴 So where is our council tax and business rates money going?

💥Why can’t Bolton Council afford basic services while businesses are being drained by high rates?
💥Why are residents forced to live in these conditions when we PAY for clean and safe streets?
🔥 Bolton was once a town full of opportunity and promise. But it has been allowed to decline and decline now it’s in crisis.

🚨 We are taking action. 🚨

🔹 We are submitting Freedom of Information (FOI) requests to force disclosure of Bolton Council’s finances.
🔹 If Bolton Council refuses to act, we will escalate this to Parliament, the National Audit Office, and the media.
