We are calling on Meta and TikTok to investigate and remove the accounts of James and Heather Anderson.
This petition is calling on Meta/Facebook and TikTok to urgently investigate the accounts and livestream activity of James Anderson and Heather Anderson, and, where their content is found to breach platform policies, permanently remove and restrict their accounts from the platforms.

This petition is being created because of serious concerns regarding the content repeatedly broadcast to the public through their social-media livestreams.

Domestic abuse and alleged emotional abuse
James Anderson has a documented criminal history involving violence against his former wife and served a period of imprisonment in relation to that offending.

James and Heather Anderson are now together again.

Since their return to a relationship, viewers have expressed serious concerns about behaviour displayed during their livestreams that appears to include emotional abuse, intimidation, controlling behaviour and degrading treatment.

These concerns are not based simply on gossip or dislike of the individuals involved. They are based on behaviour that has been publicly displayed through livestreams and videos and can be independently reviewed by the platforms.

We believe Meta and TikTok have a responsibility to examine this material and determine whether it breaches their policies relating to harassment, bullying, threats, abuse, violence or other harmful behaviour.

Concerns regarding individuals appearing on their livestreams
There are also serious concerns regarding Heather Anderson's father, whose criminal convictions are matters that can be substantiated through publicly available court information.

He has reportedly been convicted of serious sexual offences involving child sexual abuse material and bestiality.

Despite the seriousness of this history, he is regularly featured or appears on their livestreams.

Our concern is not that someone with a criminal conviction should automatically be prohibited from existing on social media.

Our concern is whether the nature of the content being broadcast, the circumstances in which he is being featured, and the overall material appearing on these accounts comply with Facebook and TikTok's safety policies.

TikTok's current Community Guidelines prohibit content involving sexual exploitation and abuse, and also prohibit harassment and bullying.

What we are asking for
We are asking Meta/Facebook and TikTok to:

Conduct a full review of James and Heather Anderson's accounts.
Review their previous and current livestreams rather than assessing isolated clips.
Investigate allegations of emotional abuse, intimidation, harassment and controlling behaviour displayed during livestreams.
Review the involvement and appearance of other individuals in their livestream content where relevant to platform safety policies.
Determine whether any of their content breaches the platforms' Community Guidelines.
Remove content that breaches those policies.
Permanently remove the accounts if the platforms determine that repeated or serious violations have occurred.
Take appropriate safeguarding action where there is credible evidence of abuse or exploitation.
This petition is about accountability — not harassment
Signing this petition does not mean that anyone should threaten, contact, abuse, dox or harass James Anderson, Heather Anderson or anyone associated with them.

We are asking the platforms themselves to investigate the evidence and make an independent decision.

We believe social-media platforms have a responsibility to protect users from abuse, harassment, exploitation and harmful content — regardless of how many followers an account has.

If the evidence demonstrates that these accounts are violating platform policies, we believe those policies should be enforced.

Who Is Affected and What Has Happened?
Who is affected?
The primary concern is Heather Anderson, whose wellbeing viewers are concerned about because of behaviour allegedly displayed during public livestreams.

There are also concerns for other people who regularly watch or appear in these livestreams, particularly younger or vulnerable viewers who may be exposed to disturbing, abusive or inappropriate material.

The wider social-media community is also affected when content involving alleged domestic abuse, harassment, intimidation or other harmful behaviour is repeatedly broadcast to a large audience without appropriate platform intervention.

What has happened?
James Anderson has previously been convicted and imprisoned in relation to violence against his wife. James and Heather Anderson have since reunited.

Since their reunion, viewers have raised concerns about behaviour displayed during their livestreams which they believe demonstrates emotional abuse, intimidation, controlling behaviour and degrading treatment towards Heather.

There are also concerns about the repeated appearance of Heather's father during their livestreams. His criminal convictions are matters that can be supported by official records, and the nature of those convictions makes his regular appearance in public livestream content particularly concerning to viewers.

The purpose of this petition is not to encourage harassment or vigilantism against any individual.

Instead, we are asking Facebook/Meta and TikTok to review the available evidence themselves and determine whether the behaviour and content appearing on these accounts breaches their respective safety and community standards.

Where there is evidence of violations, we are asking the platforms to take appropriate enforcement and safeguarding action.

The people affected deserve to be taken seriously, and social-media platforms have a responsibility to investigate credible concerns about harmful content on their services.
