We the undersigned have not been consulted or balloted by our union and are not prepared to work while the case numbers of community transmission remains at an all time high. We believe that our lives and that of our families,  our students and their families, are being put at risk. We want clear communication as to when we will receive a vaccine to provide the most protection for all stakeholders in our school community. We want the INTO to stop the forced opening of special schools and classes until such time as virus numbers in the community have reduced to numbers we saw in the summer of 2020. We do not believe that schools are safe until the virus is under control again .
