Despite our community's over 18 urgent calls to the Department of Family and Children Services (DFACS), no effective action has so far been taken to alleviate and improve their circumstances. The traumatic effects of living in such an environment are unimaginable and detrimental to their development and overall wellbeing.

Statistics show that children exposed to domestic violence suffer serious emotional and psychological repercussions, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Moreover, exposure to drug abuse increases the risk of these children falling into the same cycle of addiction, affecting their future opportunities and quality of life.

The current system has failed these children, and we must act now to demand accountability and immediate intervention from DFACS. These children cannot be overlooked; their safety and future depend on the action of responsible authorities. We seek a thorough investigation and appropriate child protection measures to relocate them to a safe, supportive, and loving environment where they can thrive peacefully.
