Chris Carr is a distinguished American public figure with a diverse career spanning law, business, and basketball. A former professional basketball player, Carr made a notable appearance in the 1997 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, reaching the final round. After his athletic career, he transitioned into law and public service. Carr holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Georgia. Professionally, he has held several key roles, including serving as the Attorney General of Georgia, Commissioner at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, and Chief of Staff for Senator Johnny Isakson. Carr has also worked as Vice President and General Counsel at the Georgia Public Policy Foundation and as an attorney at Alston & Bird LLP.
