I, in no way, hold or espouse a negative perspective regarding immigration or immigrants. I don't believe immigrants steal jobs. I don't believe in walls. I don't believe in discrimination based on national origin. I believe in human behavior. What I hold and espouse is a negative perspective regarding those who are born in or otherwise come to this country and do nothing but spread hate under the guise of religious freedom. If you are unable to discern the difference between what I wrote about Russian and Ukran immigrants in the Sacramento region, specifically -- a demographic which is, in no way, exclusively homophobic but which, demonstrably, represents the single most vocally and physically homophobic aggregation in Sacramento (at least) -- and what I wrote about cultural assimilation, in general, then you may want to evaluate and perhaps purge your own internal bias. Things may not be as good as you want to believe. I have never accused all Russians or all Ukran of bigotry. I am aware there are haters in every demographic. Just as I am aware the plural of anecdote is not data. My point was about this five-node hate cult operating under a contrived tax exempt status in the name of religion, specifically, and about the people who directly support it, financially, and who take time out of their lives to demonstrate their disagreement with protesters, verbally and physically. Rather than bitch about what you mistakenly believe is my nationalistic bias against foreigners, in general, or Russians/Ukran, specifically -- or worse, what you mistakenly believe is my lack of understanding of cultural transmission -- how about you take the time to do what I did: Get involved with the active, ongoing thrice-weekly protests of this hate cult (not just the well-publicized media sexy protests) and see for yourselves who and what these people are -- these specific members, not "religious people" or "haters," in general -- and then you may be qualified to criticize my personal opinion. Otherwise? You're just noise.
