Just to keep you all updated on where we are at so far with the petition.

I have put out a lot of copies of the petition in local businesses around Annerley, Moorooka, Tarragindi, Fairfield, Mt Gravatt and I will continue to keep doing so.

I will soon update with photos and tag supporting businesses as well

I attended a Koala event in Town hall held by the QLD Koala society and Save the Koalas and wallabies of White hill. I met up with some lovely volunteers.
I also had a chat with Steve Griffiths, more to update when I see what he pulls through with.

I will be meeting with Graham Perrett on Wednesday the 6th of December.

Let’s hope he pulls through with his promise and more with actual answers and real action!

I have asked for Reduced speed limit -
50 kilometres in the day, this is definitely doable! If possible 40 kilometres at night along that stretch of Toohey Td Tarragindi.

Flashing - Slow down for Koalas and Wildlife signs to be installed on Toohey  Rd, one in each direction towards the entrance part of Toohey forest on Toohey Rd.

I want dates that this will be done and updates.

Speed cameras to look at being installed.

BCC to monitor Toohey Forest for dogs of leash more often and giving out fines to the owners.

A request of the days and times that BCC attend and the fines documented and shown as proof.

The crossing of course! This will take a bit longer, but we have been waiting long enough, I want to see movement and action on this. I want dates it will start being built and regular updates through the process.

All of which I will keep you all informed.

PLEASE keep signing this petition and get your family, friend and neighbours to sign this petition. It’s so important!    ❤️
