On February 16, 2023 19 year old Lee Thomas was killed while attempting to push his disabled vehicle off of the road in order to protect others. Lee has just started college and was taking his little brother to see a movie for his 16th birthday. An elderly driver who did not see Lee or his vehicle hit him from behind causing tragedy upon tragedy. This is the 4th accident in that area this month alone. It is pitch black and visibility is poor at night. This tragedy was preventable. Lee's passing will not be in vain. Lights must be installed to do exactly what Lee was trying to do, protect others. Let's get this done!!!!
