I am a local resident of Kearsley, and every week, I become a witness to more and more unfortunate accidents at our Kearsley roundabout. The roundabout is currently bearing the marks of a recent incident, a stark reminder of the lurking danger at this junction. The current state of this roundabout does not only pose a threat to our lives but also disrupts our daily commuting routines.

It's high-time that relevant authorities heed our concerns. The absence of traffic lights at this juncture is an invitation to mishaps. According to the Department for Transport, "At sites where traffic signals were installed, personal injury accidents fell by about 54%" (House of Commons Library, 2020). This statistic strengthens our demand for traffic lights at the Kearsley roundabout.

Installing traffic lights would not just protect drivers, passengers, and pedestrians but would also regulate traffic effectively, improving our daily commuting experiences.
