There have been too many near accidents with people crossing the N80 in Stradbally, between Cosby National School and Stradbally Pharmacy. High speeds and lack of visibility of traffic coming from the Carlow direction are the main issues. It is only a matter of time before someone is killed or injured.

We ask Laois County Council to address this dangerous situation immediately with a traffic light pedestrian crossing at this location, and any other additional safety measures needed.
