On January 9th, a tragic incident occurred. A truck was speeding westbound on Mockingbird Ln and lost control, wrapping itself around a tree. The three individuals in that vehicle tragically lost their lives. Thankfully, no other vehicles or residences were involved in this accident. This incident is not an isolated one; there have been numerous accidents and several fatalities due to the lack of traffic control measures between Buckner Rd and Greentree Ln.

This stretch of road has become notorious for speeding due to the significant distance between existing traffic lights. The installation of a traffic light at the intersection of Mockingbird Ln and Dalewood Ln would significantly reduce these incidents by controlling vehicle speeds and improving overall road safety.

The residents of Dallas, TX deserve safe roads where they can drive without fear for their lives or those of others around them. We urge local authorities to take immediate action by installing a traffic light at this dangerous intersection.
