March on Portway 5th September - No More Crashes!

Portway neighbours and friends, it is time to stand together on Road Safety.

What can be done to make Portway safer? When will it be done? These are the questions we are asking Newham Council and the Metropolitan Police.

Speakers include:

Cllr Matthew Carlile, Forest Gate North councillor and victim of Portway crash into his living room

Cllr Ibrahim Alom, West Ham Ward

Cllr Sophia Naqvi, North Plaistow Ward

1pm meet West Ham Park (exact location tbc)

1.30pm March along Portway, bring your banners! :D

2pm Speakers at Stratford Park stage

The pavilion in Stratford Park will be open afterwards for light refreshments.

The march will be safe, family friendly and a chance to celebrate and protect our beautiful community ❤️ It’s going to be amazing. Don’t miss it!
