In our vibrant community, we often enjoy the aesthetic blend of city hustle and residential calm. However, this balance was tragically disrupted when my parked car, a crucial means of transportation for my family, was totaled by an uninsured driver racing down S. Vincennes Avenue. This incident didn't just cost us a car; it sacrificed a sense of security that every resident deserves.

Speeding has become a rampant issue on our stretch of S. Vincennes between 43rd and 44th streets. It's not merely an inconvenience; it's a growing menace that endangers pedestrians, cyclists, and our parked vehicles. S. Vincennes is a residential area, and such behaviors are unacceptable.
