I, along with many others in our community, frequently skate at Narara Skatepark. We choose to do this during the cooler evening hours, but the lack of lighting makes it difficult and potentially unsafe. This is a problem that affects many of us  the absence of adequate lighting at our local skatepark limits its accessibility and usability during night-time hours when temperatures are more conducive for outdoor activities.

According to SafeWork NSW guidelines on public safety standards (source: SafeWork NSW), well-lit public spaces significantly reduce risks associated with low visibility. Therefore, installing lights around Narara Skatepark would not only extend its usability into the evening hours but also increase overall safety for all users.
