On August 15th, two unsettling criminal incidents occurred in our community of Caroline Golden Glades, that have left us all feeling unsafe. One car was stolen, and another had its windows broken. With no CCTV cameras installed in our community, preventing these criminal activities has become an impossible task.

As residents of Golden Glades, over 300 families strive to create a secure environment for our children, families, and our belongings. The absence of surveillance in our community has led to an increase in criminal activity, specially at night, and we can no longer ignore the threat to our safety. With the implementation of CCTV cameras, we can significantly reduce crime rates and facilitate police investigations into these incidents, providing peace of mind to all community members.

According to a study published by the Urban Institute, neighborhoods with CCTV cameras have seen a notable decline in crime rates, sometimes as much as by 51%. The presence of cameras acts as a deterrent, discouraging criminals from targeting our community. Besides aiding in the prevention of crime, CCTV footage can help law enforcement solve cases, making neighborhoods much safer overall.

We urge you and Morgan group to prioritize our safety by installing a comprehensive CCTV camera system throughout our community. This is not just about security; it is about ensuring that our children can play outside, that our property remains ours, and that we no longer live in fear.
