Batford Spring is a beautiful area, however, the lack of proper lighting creates a sense of insecurity that limits its use during the evening hours. Everyone in our community deserves to feel safe and secure when walking through and using public spaces.

Proper lighting in Batford Spring would not only enhance visibility but also deter potential criminal activities, creating a safer environment for all. Numerous studies have shown that well-lit areas can significantly reduce crime rates and promote a feeling of safety among residents. For instance, a report by the National Institute of Justice suggests a considerable drop in crime rates, ranging from 20% to 50%, in places where improved lighting was implemented.

The solution is both simple and effective: install adequate lighting along the path through Batford Spring. Adding lighting fixtures would have a lasting positive impact on our community.
