I travel these roads every day, witnessing first-hand the danger caused by the absence of a traffic light at the intersection of Veterans Highway and Grundy Avenue. To make a left turn onto Veterans Highway, residents of this community are forced to take a risk and make a dangerous U-turn, a risk that has led to several tragic accidents, some of them fatal. Our community has witnessed heartbreak, loss and anxiety due to this perilous intersection. This isn't just an issue of convenience; it's a matter of life and death.
