Great news! An Interlocal Agreement between the City of Palm Bay and Brevard County is moving forward to improve the dangerous intersection at Babcock Street and Grant Road/Eldron Blvd. The plan includes possible installation of a traffic signal and lane improvements, with the County managing the design and construction.

The total project cost is estimated at $2.5 million. The County will contribute up to $500,000, and the City will cover the rest using transportation impact fees and other development funds. If approved, construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
