Hi all!

First I'd like to say THANK YOU to all who signed, shared, and donated to this petition! I have heard back from two of the city council members who said they have contacted the Interim City Manager and the Public Works Director asking if this crosswalk can get into the cue for Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) for next year! Also, I heard from the Public Works Director who said it was on the agenda and they would work to make this area safer in the meantime.

They have already placed a speed monitor at the intersection which is great to see such swift action being taken!

We really couldn't have done this without you all!
