Insects have been rapidly declining over the last few years, and I can't be the only one who's concerned. Vital parts of our ecosystem such as bees, butterflies and ladybugs have been dying at alarming rates thanks to pesticide use, waste pollution and habitat loss. 

My goal is to take land that could be better used such as parking lots and golf courses and turn them back into their natural state of prairie land. In doing this, there can be wildlife preserves that focus on the wellbeing of insects, as well as other parts of our global ecosystem. 

Without these preserves, the insect population will continue to decline leading to drastic global impacts. Human beings are dependent on insects to provide good quality of water, food, and life. If my goal is met, populations can make incredible rebounds and the earth can continue to thrive thanks to you.
