Initiate an Investigation into Officer David Jordan's Alleged Animal Abuse For Baby

The Issue

This is a Demand for an Investigation into the conduct of Officer David Jordan Miami Dade Animal Services

This petition stems from a deep concern about animal abuse. Recently, a distressing incident involving Officer David Jordan from Miami-Dade Animal Services has come to light. Witnesses reported that he roughly handled a friendly puppy named Baby, who had arrived at a nearby warehouse. Despite showing no signs of aggression or fear, Baby was dragged from the warehouse to the truck by Officer Jordan, resulting in head trauma and an injured paw.

The heart-wrenching cries of this innocent creature have left us shocked and appalled. According to ASPCA, approximately 1.5 million animals are victims of abuse each year in the United States alone (ASPCA). The incident with Baby is not just about one animal; it's indicative of a larger problem that needs addressing.

We demand an immediate investigation into Officer David Jordan's actions and appropriate disciplinary measures if found guilty. We also call for better training and stricter regulations for all officers involved in animal handling at Miami-Dade Animal Services.

This is something that the people of Miami Dade County have seen time and again and the Director of Animal Services puts out the same statements all the time that they are aware of the incident and it is being investigated. Yet nothing ever happens. This time we demand that this officer be removed from his position. A position paid for by taxpayer dollars. Speak up this needs to stop. Sign this petition!

Animal cruelty cannot be ignored or normalized under any circumstances - let us stand together against it! Please sign this petition to help ensure justice for Baby and prevent such incidents in the future.
