The Issue
David Paton is a Scottish bassist, musician, singer and songwriter who was a founding member of the band, Pilot and an original member of The Alan Parsons Project. David was the bassist and lead singer of Pilot, first achieving fame with the songs "Magic," "January," "Just a Smile," and "Call Me Round." He also worked with acts such as Camel, Keats, Kate Bush, Elton John and Paul Mc Cartney ("Mull of Kintyre"). David has continued to make music, produce and entertain fans for over four decades. We want to honor David Paton’s huge contribution to pop music, as well as his continued dedication to songwriting and production.
