Most of the colleges have not declared their admission date due to COVID it will be better for the IITs not to start their counselling now. My subject in IIT JAM was economics and there are many colleges in India which are better than IIT in the field of Economics like Delhi School of Economics, Indian Statistical Institute, JNU, IGIDR in total adds up more that 300 seats compared to IITs having 58 seats. So after those better colleges start their admission students of IITs are going to leave their course resulting in a large number of seats remaining vacant and also it's a wastage of money spent during admission in various colleges. Thus I will request you to take some steps to delay the counselling of IITs and held it after this COVID situation improves
