The district has decided Principal Stein will stay and declared the investigation closed, but its own records just proved our concerns were real all along and being escalated by staff for years.

After a parent asked the Dane County DA to act on months of ignored public records requests, the district suddenly released three years of staff exit interviews. They describe "an environment of hurt, high stress, fear, shame" and staff being directed to file reports against each other rather than work as a team. These are the words of departing educators at the time they left, and they match what families and staff have reported for years. The district calls this "deeply divided perspectives." We call it documented, and we are not done. We will keep showing up at board meetings and speaking up, because our kids deserve respect and accountability.
