I may not be a resident of South Jersey, but I am deeply concerned about the current state of the Atlantic City Rail Line. This rail line is not just any rail line; it is the only commuter rail line in South Jersey and also serves as the only NJ Transit commuter rail line that feeds into Philadelphia. However, its service frequency and capacity are far from satisfactory.

The current situation has led to overcrowded trains during peak hours, causing discomfort for commuters who rely on this service daily. Moreover, infrequent services mean longer waiting times at stations, adding unnecessary stress to people's already busy lives.

It's high time we addressed this issue by increasing both frequency and capacity. One way to achieve this would be by introducing Bombardier Multi-level coaches which can double train capacity. This solution has been successfully implemented in other areas with similar challenges.

By increasing service frequency and introducing multi-level coaches, we can significantly improve commuting experience for thousands of New Jersey residents while also reducing traffic congestion on our roads due to less reliance on personal vehicles.
