The MMPI is a psychological test that evaluates and determines personality characteristics. It measures people's mental health and provides evidence of mental disorders. Doctors give it to patients but it would be comforting to know that they too have taken it. Police and law enforcement should be required as well as psychiatrists, physiologists, psychologists, general therapists, school counselors, animal caregivers and anyone who guides or cares for others.

I learned about this test when I was in human resources for security guards, and not only did they have to take the MMPI but they also had to take a polygraph otherwise known as a lie detector test. I too took these same tests.

My belief is police officers, military personnel, child, adult and animal care givers, etc. should be tested for personality instablity so as not to be a danger to children, adults and animals. It is all too common to see preferential treatment and even violence based upon social status, race, age, etc.

I am NOT trying to force more restrictions but simply want to have a SAFER world. If you had to place a loved one’s care with a facility, wouldn’t you prefer to place that parent, child or animal with one who mandated this testing as a hiring prerequisite? Perhaps it would dramatically cut down on police brutality, malpractice, neglected and abused children, animals, etc.
