The Issue

I had an minor operation in April 2004 and have been in pain since then. I was under the care of The Pain Management clinic in Scunthorpe since 2006 until it was closed in 2019. I then received treatment from the company that bought the contract from the NHS in a trailer on the grounds of SGH for 2 yeas then they also had their funding cut. The Pain Management Specialist that treated me for 12 years has gone along with the records that were not seen by the last person that administered my treatment. I have sought help through both Labour MP Nick Dakin and Conservative MP Holly Mumby Croft, neither of them reported back with any progress.

When I attended the pain clinic in Scunthorpe it was always very busy and under staffed even though there was no way that the staff on could be faulted. There are a surprisingly high number of people who this effects as Pain can be caused by a number of different illnesses and conditions.
