Any changes to management inherently affect our continued employment as medics at Empress Montefiore. 

Undersigned, we ask that those affected be included in any decision-making regarding the management of Empress Montefiore base. As workers, we believe we have insight to offer regarding the day-to-day nuances of operations and are concerned that our insights have not been incorporated in ongoing investigations. We seek transparency regarding the multiple concurrent investigation processes we have heard are underway at specifically Montefiore base. Too much that affects us is handled without us and we simply cannot assure we will weather changes that occur without our input. 

Montefiore is an ecosystem that is, as a base, amongst the most diverse in the EMS system, responding to the highest acuity of calls and the most strenuous demands for patient care. We are multicultural, multilingual, street smart, book smart and each to a person, dedicated to this base. We recognize the complexities in running a base like this and ask we be consulted in changes that will affect our continued employment as medics at Empress Montefiore. We appreciate the support of those whose shoulders we stand upon. We understand changes need to happen at Montefiore and seek to work with this process.
