Make Battlefield 1942 free to play or available to buy via digital download

Battlefield 1942 was a game released for PC in 2002. It made game of the year for 2002 and has been named one of the 100 best PC games ever made, as well as being named the 3rd best first person shooter in the last decade for PC games. Currently the game still has a large and active community, but the lack of availability to most video gamers has limited the experience of the game to those who already have it.  Battlefield 1942 is no longer accessable to those who wish to buy it. The game has defined first person shooters and remains important to the culture of video gaming, especially PC gaming. Due to the age of the game, this petition is to have Battlefield 1942 either be sold again, via digital download, or make free to play like other great Electronic Arts owned classics (such as Command & Conquer and Red Alert).
