In Opposition of a National Abortion Ban—Abortion is Healthcare

In Opposition of a National Abortion Ban—Abortion is Healthcare
The Issue
The Cause:
Over the past few years, with recent policy changes such as the disastrous overturn of the landmark Roe V. Wade decision which had previously provided many women the comfort of knowing that their right to choose was precedented in law, women's right to choose and agency over their own bodies has been attacked and challenged at every possible turn. States such as Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee even went as far to enact either heavily restrictive policies in this regard or outright banned abortion with little exceptions provided. This is unacceptable.
Abortion bans and restrictions adversely affect women at one of the most vulnerable points in their lives. Many women have and may continue to lose their lives as a result of such heavy-handed policies.
The rights and freedoms of women are in danger and need to be protected which is why we must take action immediately to allow our voices to be heard.
