"In God we Trust?"

"In God we Trust?"
The Issue
It is not about any religion, I was raised Baptist, it is all about respect!
In our diverse country the melting pot of the world. We should end the idea all Americans follow the same religion. We do not I am Cherokee and feel if I go through life and treat others with respect. I will not be deprived any after life reward. It is all about Carma to me but I know many Christians would not agree. That is OK we enjoy freedom of religion that is what our great country was founded on.
But we must respect all people and their religions. This is why I feel, "In God we Trust" should be removed form our currency. Unless you respect all religions on money there should be no reference to religion at all.
I know the religious right will feel I am the devil and hope I burn in hell for my idea. I will risk that and ask them to try and understand. Religion should be kept in your personal life and practices. Not on our national currency.
I have never understood why Christians cannot enjoy the religious freedom we all have. Why do they insist on trying to force their beliefs on others. Like the issue of abortion this decision should be left with the individual facing that decision. It is not something a court should decide and dictate to people based on christian laws. Laws insisted on by one religion in our country. The segment that wants to legislate how everyone lives, based on their religion. They even advocate violence against people who do not follow their beliefs. That is why I no longer belong to organized religon.
People of other religions also want freedom of choice to exercise their rights. That is why we have freedom of religion but the religous right wants to take your freedom away! They want to dictate using laws demanding you must follow their narrow beliefs.
Christians should learn to respect others and their beliefs and stop trying to dictate to everyone. Insisting we must lay down our freedom to satisfy their God...
