In the span of one day,numerous instances regarding violent attacks and sexual misconduct have brought to light the lack of safety within the WCHS. As a result of these series of unfortunate events, my peers no longer feel safe or comfortable within what is supposed to be our safe haven. Though we may gain academic knowledge,  we are consistently deprived of the ability to know how dangerous the environment we are in may be. The objective of this petition is to create a school safety committee involving students, staff and possibly law enforcement as well as to hold school safety seminars that will create a space for open dialogue between students and faculty in regards to the overall safety of the WCHS.
