Dear Cllr Stephanos Ioannou,
Thank you for your enquiry regarding Boxers Lake play area

I can advise that an officer will be attending site to carry out an Ad-hoc safety inspection. The output from this inspection will be used to procure works that are deemed necessary under risk assessment.

I can also confirm that through Parks & Open Spaces' Routine Maintenance programme, Boxers Lake Play Area has received recent contractor visits on 10/03/2023 & 16/05/2023 to ensure minor maintenance issues are repaired.

Pleasee see the atached peeition. This relates to the playground on boxers lake in Highlands Ward. Mrs. Ippocratous has got in touch with me to express here concern over the safety of the site. Please can we first inspect the site and see if its worthy for children safety please?
