The Vantage bus service serving Leigh, Atherton, Tyldesley, East Lancs into Manchester is appalling.

The service was cut back due to COVID and although patronage is at pre-pandamic levels, the service has not reflected this.

Passengers are often left waiting at bus stops (often 20+ at each one) and it isn't rare for 5 or 6 to go past full. This means that people going to work, education or appointments either arrive late, or must leave over an hour early to make it on time.

In peak time going home, watching several buses fo past full is also common. 

This is meant to be a flagship route with the busway and bus priority measures. In 2016, First signed a 10 year contract, which included punctuality of 98%+ amongst other aspects which aren't adhered to.

Having to wait an hour for the bus is not making public transport appealable. This is actually reversing the modal shift which will in the near future mean more cars back on the roads.

We need the service improving drastically so passengers aren't being missed out. 

Hopefilly with enough signatures, TfGM, Andy Burnham, Manchester City Council and everybody else will take notice, as it is clear that First are not.
