In Homestead, Florida, like many others and myself, public transportation is a lifeline. Unfortunately, the city's Trolley and Freebee transportation services are not up to the mark currently and experience frequent issues that lead to delays and inconvenience.

This issue brought to our notice various predicaments such as inconsistent schedules, limited accessibility for people with disabilities, and overcrowded public transport. Additionally, the American Public Transportation Association reveals that every billion dollars invested in public transportation supports and creates more than 50,000 jobs. Consequently, improving our public transportation infrastructure can also stimulate socioeconomic benefits.

To our city council, this petition urges you to prioritize augmentation and development of our public transportation system, particularly enhancing the Trolley and Freebee services. Better transport will not only serve the locals but also support Homestead's economy by attracting more visitors.
