Hello everyone! 

I attended tonight’s HOA board meeting to hear what they had to say about the first quote proposal. It was not all bad…

1) Cost. They still are not 100% in agreement about needing to change the mulch to a different material. Much of it is because of the cost of the installation of the newer playground materials. However, they would like more details on life expectancy, maintenance , etc. 

2) Usage: One member would like to conduct survey on playground usage to see if the cost makes sense. I brought up the fact that they probably won’t find the usage number that they are looking for because residents choose not to use to current playground as is. They seemed to understand that. 

All in all, I do not consider it a no. I consider it a “keep trying.” 

Jackie has agreed to meet with me to go over their notes and submit another quote next month.
