My name is David, a resident of 35 Claver Place for two years. I am deeply concerned about the state of the vacant building on the corner of Claver Place and Fulton, specifically 1101-1107 Fulton Street. In these two years, my family and I have witnessed consistent neglect towards this building - trash consistently littering its frontage, a broken window, and empty/open windows.

This issue is not just personal to me but affects all residents in our neighborhood in Bed-Stuy. The neglected state of this building brings down the street, devalues the property and poses safety risks to us.

I've reached out to the owner with no success. Now it's time we come together as a community motivate action from our local authorities and the owner. This is a petition to:

1. Invest in improving the building or build a new building
2. If the owner doesn’t want to invest in the building, sell the building to someone who will
3. Keep the building in better condition by cleaning up the facade, fixing open / broken windows, resolving all building violations and cleaning up trash
