There are currently no regulations at the  Nebraska Department of Agriculture regarding how small and exotic animals are cared for in pet stores. This allows animals to be held in inhumane and dangerous conditions without any consequences for the pet store. 

By signing this petition, it will show to the state that people care about how reptiles, amphibians, and other types of small animals are cared for in pet stores. We hope to draw attention to this matter and get regulations in place. 

Reptiles, amphibians, and small animals are living creatures, just like cats and dogs. They deserve to be cared for humanely with correct. Please consider signing this petition to show the senate that the people of Nebraska care for these animals and how they are cared for!
