Cults are extremely problematic. They physically, mentally, sexually, and financially abuse/exploit their members, amongst other destructive tendencies. They exist all throughout the physical and digital world, and are incredibly hard to spot. There is generally no information taught in schools about this subject, which makes it even harder to identify a cult and its risks. Almost anyone can be affected, but due to the idealistic, impressionable and venerable traits that exist in most school aged kids/adults, young people aged 16-30 are the most at risk. We must be educated.
