Recent sightings of mice in our children’s schools have raised serious concerns about our students’ health and safety. This issue, ongoing since the start of the school year, must be addressed immediately. The Environmental Protection Agency warns that rodent-infested environments can lead to diseases like Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome, Leptospirosis, and Tularemia (Source: EPA). Additionally, an unclean school environment harms our children’s learning experience, affecting their mental and physical well-being.

 

We are demanding swift action from school authorities and local government, including:
