The crossover and entrances/exits [on HWY 81/287] into the restaurant and truck stop, Punjabi Dhabba, have proven to be hazardous and life-threatening.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), poorly designed roadways contributed to more than half of all highway fatalities in America last year. This statistic is not just a number; it represents real people who lost their lives due to inadequate road safety measures.

Our community deserves safe roads, where we can live without fear for ourselves or our loved ones. Something has got to change, at this location. My goal is to get 5000 signatures and present it to TXDOT, so that maybe they will consider this an urgent issue. We need a solution, NOW!
