With increasing traffic in the area and ongoing incidents, it’s only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs. My own story:
Adding these changes to our community will ensure the safety of both pedestrians and drivers. Personally, I have experienced many close calls at this intersection, and many individuals living at Windsor Manor have faced similar dangers. A four-way stop and speed bumps don’t need to be installed only after a tragedy occurs. We have the opportunity to prevent a death or major injury by taking action now.
Crosswalks are meant to protect pedestrians, not make them fear for their lives every time they cross. By coming together as a community and urging the city to act, we can create a safer environment for everyone.
