Hey guys, let's talk about the upper field. Right now, we are required to have recess there, and that honestly sucks. It's covered in mud, uneven, and it's full of dog poop. More importantly, there is absolutely nothing to do. We can't even make the best of a bad situation because we lack resources like frisbees, and our soccer setup is horrible, with only two poles as our goal.

The problem doesn't just end there. The walk to this field takes up most of the time we get for recess, leaving us with very little time to play, unwind, or literally enjoy our break. For students like me, this is a significant problem since recess is our only chance to let out our energy and refresh ourselves for the rest of the school day. But, the current location and lack of facilities make this impossible.

Recess should be a time of fun and relaxation, and it should be safe and enjoyable for everyone. Yet, the conditions of the upper field eliminate this experience. I believe it's crucial to have a designated area that meets these needs. An area with at least one REAL soccer goal, various options for sports and activities, and comfort spots where we can safely and happily spend our break.

I propose (maybe) that our school considers moving the area designated for recess to a location that's within closer proximity, better maintained, and equipped with more resources. A well-structured and accessible sports area would greatly enhance the quality of our recess. Proper equipment for different kinds of sports and activities would also be beneficial.
