As someone currently in the process of attending a Master's program at a local school in Cambridge, I have found that the current options are abysmal. The fastest route to travel from Hamilton to Kitchener (and to Cambridge by extension) is a three-hour trek involving changing buses three different times while somehow ending up in Mississauga's Square One. This is a 45-minute drive. This situation is incredibly inconvenient to many like myself, and the transit infrastructure has been neglected for far too long.

While I understand that there is currently a bus service in the area, it comes only five times a day and only shaves an hour off the trip. It is not nearly enough to support two cities with nearly half a million residents each (and growing). Improved transit options are essential to promote accessibility and improve traffic within our growing communities.
