At pierce fields the local football stadium, circumstances have arisen that neglect our right to privacy. Upon walking by the men's restroom, passersby, including young children, have direct visuals to the urinals due to an open spot right near the door. It's a violation that leaves us feeling exposed and vulnerable. I’ve been seeing mothers carelessly with their little daughters standing right by the door and the kids have full exposure to seeing this. Our concern not only lies with our own discomfort but extends to attempts to preserve the innocence of these children. This lack of privacy in public restrooms infringes upon our fundamental human rights.

It is crucial to note that, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, nearly 20% of people have experienced invasion of privacy in one form or another (BJS,study of  2015).

Men's dignity and privacy should be universally respected, and a football stadium  should not be an exception. I urge city authorities to rectify this design flaw and ensure the installment of barriers or screens for the urinals. Let's reclaim our right to privacy and protect the innocence of our children.
