We ask that Medway Council work with ASD and New Venture to improve the 151 and 170 bus services so they better serve the community. We ask that the Council work with Nu‑Venture to deliver new weekend and evening services between Halling, Cuxton and Strood, and with ASD to increase Saturday services and introduce a new Sunday service.

Transportation is a vital part of our community, especially in an area with many commuters. Reliable transport helps residents access work, education and essential services. In Halling, Cuxton and Strood, there is a clear need to improve the 151 and 170 bus routes so they better reflect the needs of local people.

Right now, limited services leave many residents without dependable travel options.

Transport should meet the needs of the community. That’s why we are urging Medway Council to prioritise these changes, with better services supporting Halling, Cuxton and Riverside - helping residents get to work, school or to take part in our community.
